This is a digital zine collection for everyone who’s ever said, “I can fix them,” only to be genuinely surprised when it didn’t work. This zine collection is all the doomed relationship lore you could ask for. It examines the absolutely fascinating human ability to explain away literally any behavior when you’re attracted to someone, like how “they’re not texting back because they’re mysterious” instead of “they’re not texting back because they’re not interested.”
This zine collection perfectly captures that specific kind of delusion where you convince yourself that someone who can’t remember your coffee order after six months is just “not good with details.” This collection creates a safe space to admit that, yes, you did notice all those red flags, and yes, you decided they were actually green flags because you’re an optimist.
The strength of this digital zine collection is that it doesn’t judge you for your absolutely unhinged ability to rationalize someone’s behavior; it just documents it with the kind of loving accuracy that makes you laugh instead of cry. Because the zines in this collection were basically written by someone who’s made all the same mistakes.
